Buffalo Worms Tub

Buffalo worms are the larvae of the ‘litter’ beetle and are about 10mm in length. They are suitable for many species that like smaller food and are often used for small birds.
They have a thinner exoskeleton to mealworms and are softer and easier to eat. Fast moving and very active makes them good at hiding so its recommended to feed them in a bowl. They are high in protein, low in fat, low in carbohydrates and are packed with many essential minerals.
